Terms of Service

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your state) to place an order. By ordering, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate. We currently ship within the United States only.

Account responsibility

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials private and for all activity on your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Pricing, availability, and errors

Prices and stock are shown in US dollars and may change without notice. We make our best effort to keep the site accurate, but if a product is mispriced, out of stock, or otherwise unavailable after you place an order, we may cancel the order and issue a full refund. Custom builder pricing is calculated at checkout based on the design, quantity, and any applicable setup fee.

Custom orders

Custom hats are produced to order from the design, leatherette color, and quantity you select. The standard flow is:

1. Place and pay for your order.
2. Upload artwork (or confirm a stock design).
3. We send you a digital proof to review.
4. You approve the proof. Production begins after approval.
5. We ship within the production timeline communicated at checkout.

Once production begins, custom orders cannot be cancelled or refunded except in cases of defective workmanship as described in our Shipping & Returns. Please review your proof carefully -- approving the proof is your authorization to produce the order as shown.

Retail orders

Retail (non-custom) products ship from existing stock. Returns are governed by our Shipping & Returns.

Artwork and intellectual property

By uploading artwork or providing a logo, image, or other content, you represent that you own it or have the legal right to reproduce it on the products you are ordering. You grant LiDMasters a limited license to use that content solely to fulfill your order, including production of physical hats and digital proofs.

We may refuse or cancel orders that contain infringing, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable content. You are responsible for any third-party claims arising from artwork you submit.

Payment

Payment is processed by Stripe at the time you place your order. By submitting a payment, you authorize the charge and confirm that you are the legitimate cardholder. Sales tax is added where required by law.

Shipping and risk of loss

Shipping fees and estimates are shown at checkout. Once a package is handed to the carrier, risk of loss transfers to you. If a package is lost or damaged in transit, contact us promptly and we will help open a claim with the carrier.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The site and our products are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, LiDMasters disclaims all warranties not expressly stated, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which LiDMasters LLC is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in that state.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Orders placed after the change are bound by the updated Terms.
